Elizabeth Briseno

I am a dedicated Associate Family Therapist with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges and cultivate healthier relationships. I have a background in psychology and specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy. I bring a compassionate and client-centered approach to my practice.

I have worked extensively with adolescents, providing support and guidance during the often tumultuous transition to adulthood.
I understand the unique struggles that teens face and I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where they can explore
their emotions and develop healthy coping skills. In addition to working with teens, I have experience helping adults navigate issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I believe in the importance of addressing the underlying factors contributing to these challenges and empower clients to make meaningful changes in their lives. I am also skilled in working with couples. I help them improve their communication, resolve conflicts, and rebuild trust. I uses evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help couples deepen their connection and strengthen their bond. Furthermore, I am passionate about working with families to create harmony and cohesion within the household. I help families identify unhealthy patterns of interaction and develop strategies for fostering greater understanding, empathy, and support among family members. With my warm demeanor and genuine empathy, I strive to create
a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives. I am committed to ongoing professional development and staying up- to-date on the latest research and therapeutic techniques to best
serve my clients.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, practicing mindfulness, and exploring new cultures through travel. I believe in the importance of self-care and strive to inspire my clients to prioritize their own mental and emotional well-being.
